1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Medora — including the web application, patient portal, hospital dashboard, or AI health assistant — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use Medora. These terms apply to all users, including patients, hospital administrators, and doctors.

2. Description of Service

Medora is a medical SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that provides: • Appointment booking and management for patients and hospitals • A digital health records system accessible by patients and their chosen providers • An AI-powered health assistant for general health guidance and symptom information • A hospital operations dashboard for managing doctors, appointments, departments, and analytics Medora is not a healthcare provider. We are a technology platform that facilitates connections between patients and licensed healthcare professionals.

3. User Accounts

Registration: To use Medora's services, you must register for an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. For hospital accounts, you represent that you are authorized to register the organization. Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must immediately notify us at support@medorahealth.in if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. Accuracy: You agree not to provide false information about yourself, your organization, or your medical history. Providing false health information can harm you and others.

4. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Medora AI is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The AI health assistant is designed to provide general health information and help you understand symptoms. It is not a diagnostic tool and should not be used as one. Always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In a medical emergency, call 112 (India's national emergency number) immediately. Do not rely on Medora AI for emergency guidance.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: • Use Medora for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or any other user's data • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the platform without permission • Upload malicious code, viruses, or content that could harm the platform or its users • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or Medora staff • Use the AI health assistant to generate medical diagnoses for others without clinical training Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

6. Intellectual Property

Medora and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Medora Healthcare and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the health data you provide. By using Medora, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store your data for the sole purpose of delivering our services to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our platform or its underlying code without our explicit written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Medora and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for: • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages • Loss of data, revenue, or profits • Any harm arising from your reliance on health information provided by the AI assistant • Service interruptions, bugs, or data breaches beyond our reasonable control Medora's total liability for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Medora in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms of Service or if your use of the platform poses a security or legal risk. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@medorahealth.in. Upon termination, your right to use Medora ceases immediately. We will retain your data as required by law and as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and applicable healthcare regulations. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurugram, Haryana, India.
